The triumphs for me are Globo (GBO) where the man who should know recognises my unique work and puts the FT’s snot gobbler in his place as the FCA swoop and SpectrumX and some real Tory sleaze exposed as it goes bust as advisers say its IPO is on track. Then I look at AO World (AO.) where almost all the writers here are vindicated and deserve an ouzo tonight (sparkling water for puritan Chris), and Harland & Wolff (HARL) – ouzo for Peter Brailey, cabbage water for Andrew Monk. Finally a few words on the lastest spoof from the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME).

SpectrumX Holidings Limited claims to be ready to set to launch, inter alia, the world’ most powerful hand gel to stop the spread of you know what. Admittedly it is, according to its own website, only at the “patent pending” stage but it reckons that a Q3 2021 £50 million IPO is happening. We are now in Q4 so what’s the catch? Yesterday, Nick Michaels of Alfred Henry confirmed his firm was acting for SpectrumX and the IPO was still on, albeit delayed. Today administrators were called in. Ooops.

I have already demonstrated that AIM listed Verditek (VDTK) misled investors in a material way with regard to phantom orders ahead of placings in September 2019 and March and May this year. But this now gets far worse and AIM Regulation/The FCA needs to step in at once. Let’s start with the high grade Tory sleaze.

I guess under the Tories it is about who you know, not whether you are qualified when it comes to accessing taxpayer cash. It worked for the pole dancing American bimbo who was a “close friend” of Boris when London’s Mayor and, as you can see below, with the blues in power, Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) is a man well positioned to open the right doors. Today, his firm confirmed that it had received the first £1.96 million of a £5 million soft taxpayer loan from Innovate UK. Senior Tories such as Alok Sharma and Rishi Sunak were warned that Versarien did not qualify but the loan went ahead regardless. Let’s be clear this is the biggest ever loan by Innovate UK by a mile and this is pure and simple sleaze and here is why.

Yesterday I published a letter from Amanda Solloway MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State – Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, to fellow Tory MP Bim Afolami in which she explained why Versarien (VRS) should receive a £5 million loan from taxpayer-funded Innovate UK, its largest ever such loan. Either this is Tory sleaze, Versarien boss Neill Ricketts boasts of his visits to No 10, or Ms Solloway has been badly misled. As such, I have written to her to alert her to that possibility. Is Ms Solloway mired in Tory sleaze or is she just thick as two short planks?

The Tory party can normally rely on the support of hard working folks who just want to keep more of what they earn and make a better life for them and their families. Today it is sending a message out that it does not give a flying fuck about those folk, as long as its fat, out of touch, sleazy inner circle are looked after. The Tory party and David Cameron will not be forgiven for Maria Miller.
The Culture secretary has made a million quid profit flogging her house. It was the taxpayer who funded that “investment” as Maria Miller fiddled her expenses. Maria Miller stole money from hard working taxpayers to make herself even richer.
So out of touch, stupid or arrogant is David Cameron that he does not see how the continued presence of Mrs Miller as an MP let along a minister is a complete insult to the very folks who normally are his core constituency.
It is clear that a lot of Tories cannot sense that anger but instead blather on about how this is a media storm whipped up by papers who are hostile to Miller over gay marriage or Leveson. They assume that with these patent smears they can deflect attention from the key issue her: Mrs Miller has made a million quid by bending the rules and using taxpayer’s cash. And we the peasants are furious.
